Biography

Jeroen van Loon is an artist based in Utrecht. His work explores and visualizes current digital culture through the prisms of ephemer­al­i­ty and permanence. His work has been exhibited inter­na­tion­al­ly at insti­tu­tions and festivals such as Centre Pompidou (Paris), Trans­me­di­ale (Berlin), IDFA Doclab (Amsterdam), Aksioma (Ljubljana), Long March Space (Beijing), Centraal Museum (Utrecht), HMKV | Dortmunder U, IMPAKT festival (Utrecht), Fondation Verbeke (Kemzeke), SPRING performing arts festival (Utrecht), Biennale Némo (Paris), V2_ (Rotterdam), Cairo­tron­i­ca (Cairo), KIKK festival (Namur) and MU Artspace (Eindhoven).
